You can use Libsyn Ads to enable ads on your podcast.
- Host-read ads: You can apply to our podcast advertising marketplace if you have 20,000 downloads per new episode within the first 30 days. When an advertiser orders an ad buy from you, you have the first right to approve or deny their ad request.
- Automatic ads: You can apply to our automatic ads program if you have a minimum of 2,000 downloads in a month for all episodes combined. Automatic ads (also known as dynamic or programmatic ads) allow you to monetize your Libsyn podcast by dynamically inserting ads. You can choose where you want ads to run — pre-roll, mid-roll, or post-roll. Automatic ads are not a permanent part of your podcast, and because they are inserted in real-time, you can also monetize your back catalog.
To apply for one of our advertising programs through the Libsyn 5 interface:
- Click theicon in the top of your Libsyn account to display the Settings page.
- Click Advertising.
- Do one of the following:
- If you qualify for automatic ads but have not yet applied, an application form displays. See Enroll in Automatic Ads.
- If you don't meet the criteria for automatic ads, Libsyn Ad information displays. Click Add Your Podcast to visit this page, where you can learn more.
Note If your show has automatic ads enabled, this page displays your show-level settings for your pre-roll and post-roll ads. See Manage Pre-Roll and Post-Roll Ad Settings for Your Show. |
