Enroll in Automatic Ads

With Libsyn’s Automatic Podcast Ads, you can enable ads to be inserted in real-time for your podcast listeners. (You must be the show owner to enroll.)

To apply: 

  1. Click the Settings.png icon in the top of your Libsyn account to display the Settings page.

     
  2. Click Advertising to display the Advertising Settings page. (If you are not the show owner, click Email Show Owner to send them more information about enrolling.)

     

  3. Complete the following:

    PayPal Email Address Enter the PayPal email address for the PayPal account where you would like to receive payment. If your show is already enrolled in PodRoll with Libsyn, this PayPal Email Address field is prefilled for you.
    Select the Programmatic Ad Categories You Would Like Excluded.

    Select one of the following groups of  ads that you do not want to  appear in your podcast. (Fewer restrictions mean more earning potential, but you can choose to exclude certain ad categories based on what fits your audience.)

    • A. Open | Exclude ads that contain Religion & Spirituality, Firearms, and Illegal Substances
       
    • B. Middle of the Road | Exclude ads that contain Religion & Spirituality, Firearms, Illegal Substances, Alcohol, Law, and Government & Politics
       
    • C. Cautious  | All of the above plus Arts and Entertainment, Business, Family/Parenting, Health/Fitness, Food/Drink, News, and Personal Finance
    I consent to being enrolled in the Automatic Podcast Ads program.

    Select the check box to give us permission to enroll your show in the Libsyn Automatic Podcast Ads program.

    If you are approved, ads may appear in your content immediately, and revenue will be paid via your configured PayPal email address.

     

  4. Click Apply.

You’ll receive a response by email within 5 business days. 

Once approved, your account will be auto-enabled with two pre-roll and four post-roll ad slots, which you can customize at any time. Your content will be converted to MP3 format (for ad compatibility), and you will be able to access earnings and ad slot tools.
