To view the details for an existing episode:
- Open the Episodes list for your show and search for the episode you want to view. See View Your Episodes List.
- Click on the title of an episode.
(Alternatively, you can click the View button on the Edit Episode page to display the episode details.)
The Episode Details page displays.
Note
For a text-only episode (blog post), the Episode Details do not display the player, the </> Embed button, or stats. See View or Edit a Blog Post.
You can view the following elements on the Episode Details page.
Title Displays the text entered in the Episode Title field. See About Your Episode Details.
</> Embed Click this button to view the following menu:
- Quick Links - Click to display the Quick Links window, which displays the URLs that you can use when sharing your episode. See About the Quick Links Window.
- Get Embed Player - Click to display the Link/Embed window, where you can customize and share the media player for this episode. See Customize and Share the Libsyn Media Player for a Specific Episode.
- Share on Social - (Only displays if you are on the $20 plan or higher.) Click to display the Social Schedule window, which displays the scheduled social media posts for the episode. Click New to create a new one. See Schedule an Episode to Appear on Social Media Using the Social Destinations Calendar.
- Download Audio File - Click to immediately download the audio file to your computer.
Edit Click the Edit button to edit the episode. See Edit an Episode. Player The media file for the episode displays as a player. See Upload a Media File.
- Click to immediately download the file to your computer.
- Click to play the file.
Episode Description Displays the content you entered in the Description field when you created the episode. You may need to click Read More to view the full description. See About Your Episode Details. Episode Details Displays the following:
- Status - Displays the release status of the episode. Statuses include Published, Published Text, Scheduled, and Draft. See View Your Episodes List.
- Release Date - Displays the scheduled release date for the episode.
- Author - Displays the text entered in the Author field. See About Your Episode Details.
- Episode Type - Displays the option selected in the Episode Type field. Options include Full, Trailer, and Bonus. See About Your Episode Details.
- Episode - Displays the text entered in the Episode Number field. See About Your Episode Details.
- Rating - Displays the option selected in the Explicit field. Options include Explicit and Clean. See About Your Episode Details.
- File Info - Displays the file type and size.
Downloads for This Episode
The Downloads for this Episode section shows the daily, weekly, and monthly downloads for your episode. You can specify the date range and change from IAB downloads to Unique downloads. For more details, see Review the Statistics That Come in the Basic Package.
Click the View Stats button to view your statistics for just that episode. See View Statistics for a Specific Episode.
Destinations
The Destinations section displays a list of all the destinations to which you were connected when you created your episode. See Connect Your Show to Publish Episodes to a Destination Feed. Each destination name displays with its release status, release date, and expiration date. (An expiration date only displays for subscriber episodes published to Apple Podcasts with an end date.)
You can use the Search field to search the list of destinations.
