You can create a blog post within Libsyn by creating an episode without adding media. See Create a Blog Post.
When you view your Episode Details page for an episode without media, it includes fewer items:
Edit | Click the Edit button to edit the blog post. You can add a media file to convert a text-only post into an episode. You can also edit the blog post from the Episodes List. See Edit an Episode. |
Title | Displays the title of the blog, which you entered in the Episode Title field. |
Status |
Displays the release status of the blog post. Statuses include Published, Scheduled, and Draft. |
Date |
The scheduled release date displays next to the release status. |
Description |
Displays the contents of your blog post, which you entered in the Description field. |
Author |
Displays the text entered in the Author field. |
Episode Type |
Displays the text selected in the Episode Type field. |
Episode |
Displays the text entered in the Season Number and Episode Number fields, or N/A if no text was entered. |
Rating |
Displays the text selected in the Explicit field. |
File Info |
Displays No Media. |
