You can create a blog post within Libsyn by creating an episode without adding media. See Create a Blog Post.
When you view your Episode Details page for an episode without media, it includes fewer items:

- You can add a media file to convert a text-only post into an episode.

Displays the following:
- Status - Displays the release status of the episode. Statuses include Published, Published Text, Scheduled, and Draft. See View Your Episodes List.
- Release Date - Displays the scheduled release date for the episode.
- Author - Displays the text entered in the Author field. See About Your Episode Details.
- Episode Type - Displays the option selected in the Episode Type field. Options include Full, Trailer, and Bonus. See About Your Episode Details.
- Season - Displays the text entered in the Season Number field. See About Your Episode Details.
- Episode - Displays the text entered in the Episode Number field. See About Your Episode Details.
- Rating - Displays the option selected in the Explicit field. Options include Explicit and Clean. See About Your Episode Details.
- File Info - Displays the file type and size.
