You can set up a media player for your podcast that lists all of your episodes or a subset of them by category. When you set up the player, you can customize its size, color, which links to make available for your listeners, and more. When you're done customizing the player, you can embed it on a webpage, blog post, or anywhere you want to make it available to your listeners.

To customize and share your podcast player:

Click the icon in the top of your Libsyn account to display the Settings page.
- Click Player.

Clicking Player might take you to a Player Select Settings table or directly to the Player Settings page. If the Player Select Settings table opens, click Edit in the row that contains the player you want to customize to open the Player Settings page. If you are already at the Player Settings page with all of the customizable fields, continue to step 3.
- Customize the podcast player by updating the information in the player fields. For more information about your options, see the Customize Your Podcast Player section below.
- At the bottom of the page, click Save to save your changes.
- Copy the code that displays under the player, or click Copy Embed in the upper-right of the page. The code for embedding the player is now copied to the clipboard.
- Paste the code you copied where you want the player to appear, such as on a web page or a blog post.
Customize Your Podcast Player
The Player Settings page gives you many options for customizing the look and function of your podcast player. As you change the settings, the preview at the bottom of the page updates automatically to show you what your player will look like when you embed it.
If you change the height of the player, you can see the exact measurement in pixels in the embed code beneath the player. The measurement is useful so you can decide whether the player will fit where you want to embed it.
This table provides some guidance on your options for customizing the player:
Player Size | You can choose Large or Extra Large depending on your preference. However, you must choose Extra Large if your podcast includes video.
When you select Extra Large, the following field displays:

Player Color |
Click the box to select the background color you want for your player. See Use the Color Selector. |
Font Color |
Click the box to select the font color you want for your player. See Use the Color Selector. |
Accessibility |
This note displays the contrast ratio between the selected Player Color and Font Color. According to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the standard minimum ratio for text should be 4.5:1 or higher to provide enough contrast between text and its background so that it can be read by people with moderately low vision. For details, see the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.) |
Display Art | Select to show your podcast artwork on the left side of the player. |
Display Title | Select to have the title of your podcast appear above the episode title that's currently playing. |
Follow | Select to include a FOLLOW link in the upper-right of the player. When users click the link, a window displays with options for following your show on the different social media sites where you are active. |
Share | Select to include a SHARE link in the upper-right of the player. When users click the link, a window displays with options for sharing your show on social media. |
Display Media Download | Select to include a link in the player that your listeners can use to download the episode they're listening to in your player. |
Category |
You can choose any category that you created when you published your episodes. The player will only play the episodes in the category you select. If you want to include all of your episodes, select No Category. For more information on categories, review the "Category" section in About Your Episode Details. |
Playlist |
In this section, you can expand or shorten the height of the playlist to make more or fewer episodes visible at a time. You have the following options:
