Libsyn supports video distribution to Spotify, allowing you to upload and publish video episodes directly through your Libsyn account.
Once you’re enrolled in Spotify Video with Libsyn:
- Your show will be distributed to Spotify through an API instead of through an RSS feed.
- Your RSS feed continues to distribute your audio episodes to other podcast destinations as normal.

Note Spotify Video is available on the Advanced Plan and higher. You must be the show owner to enroll. Your show must also meet Spotify’s brand safety check to be eligible for video distribution. |
To enroll in Spotify Video with Libsyn:
- Click the
icon at the top of your Libsyn account to display the Settings page.
- Click Destinations.
- In the Destinations table, if you see the
icon in the row for Spotify, click Manage to display the Spotify Configuration page.

On the Spotify Configuration page, select the Enable Spotify Video check box:
- Click Submit.
About Your Enrollment
Once enabled, your Spotify Configuration page will update to show that Spotify Video is enabled for your show.
Once Spotify Video is enabled:
- You can begin publishing video episodes through Libsyn. See Publishing to Spotify Video.
- You can view streaming data for your episodes in Spotify. See View Spotify Statistics in Libsyn.
Now that your show is enabled for Spotify Video, you're eligible to apply for monetization through the Spotify Partner Program. Click Enroll Now to apply.
