Sign Up for a Libsyn Account

Before you can host and distribute a podcast with Libsyn, you must sign up for a hosting account here:

  1. Complete the fields on the Signup page.
    First Name

    You must enter a first name.
    Last Name You must enter a last name.
    Email
    		 You must enter a valid email address. Use the basic format local-part@hostname.
    Password You must create a password between 8 and 75 characters that contains at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, and one number.
    Sign me up to receive Libsyn service, community, industry and podcast educational communications. You can select this check box to receive email updates and newsletters from Libsyn.
    I accept and agree to Libsyn’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy You must select this check box to agree to Libsyn's terms and policies in order to create an account. You can read the terms and policies here:
     
  2. Click Create Your Account.

  3. On the Choose a Plan for Your Podcast page, complete the following fields:

    Podcast Title

    Enter a title for your show.
    Promo Code

    You can enter a promo code if you have one.

    • If the code is valid, the details of the offer display below the field.
    • If the code is only valid for specific plans, an error displays informing you which plans can be used with this promo.
    First Name You must enter a first name.
    Last Name You must enter a last name.
    Email
    		 You must enter the email address for your show.
    Company Optionally, you can enter a company name.
    Billing Location Lookup Start typing your address, and select the correct address from the list that displays. This will autocomplete the address fields below.
    Billing Address You must enter your billing street address.
    Suite/Apt Enter a suite or apartment number if applicable.
    State You must enter your billing state.
    City You must enter your billing city.
    Postal Code You must enter your billing postal code.
    Country

    You must select your billing country.
     

  4. Select one of the following for your initial hosting plan:

    $5 / Month You'll be able to upload 3 hours of new content per month.
    • Hours are based on the upload of a 128-bitrate file.

    • Your storage limit is reset on the first of each month, freeing up space for you to upload more new content. See Understand How Your Monthly Storage Works.
    $7 / Month You'll be able to upload 3 hours of new content per month, with access to basic statistics.
    $15 / Month You'll be able to upload 6 hours of new content per month, with access to basic statistics.
    $20 / Month

    You'll be able to upload 10 hours of new content per month, with access to advanced statistics and social promotion tools, as well as access to Libsyn Connect.
     
  5. Choose a way to pay. If you change your mind, click Choose another way to pay.
    Card

    Select to pay with a credit card. Libsyn accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, UnionPay, and UCB. 

    • Card Number: Enter your 16-digit credit card number.
    • Expiration Date: Enter the expiration date in MM/YY format.
    • CVV: Enter the CVV number found on the back of your card.
    PayPal Click the PayPal button and enter your credentials to log in to PayPal.

  6. Click Save. You will be immediately billed for the remainder of the current month, and then monthly on the first of each month.

  7. Next, you can either Configure Your Podcast, Import Existing Podcast, or Skip to view your Dashboard.
