Downloads per Country
In the Downloads per Country section, you can see the countries where your podcast is most popular. The right side of the section lists countries in order from most downloads to least. The download count includes all downloads for all episodes over the time range you selected.
Here are the options you have in the Downloads per Country section for reviewing your downloads:
a. | Hover your mouse cursor over a country to see the download numbers for that country. |
b. | Click the + or - icons to zoom in or out of the map. You can also click and drag the map to change its position. |
c. | Click any country on the map to see a breakdown of your download numbers in that country by area. For example, if you click the United States, you can see downloads by state. Click the icon to return to the global map. |
Note If you click the U.S. to see a breakdown by state, you can also click Markets in the upper-right to see your stats broken down by market area. A market area designates a region where people might receive similar radio, TV, and other media offerings, such as newspapers or magazines. The Markets option is only available for the U.S. For other countries, you can see breakdowns by regions, such as provinces. |
Downloads per User Agent
A user agent refers to any program or app that listeners can use to access your content, such as Chrome, the Apple Podcasts app, Firefox, Pandora, the Spotify app, and more. These are the programs listeners use to access content. You can review these stats to get accurate download counts and to determine where your listeners are engaging your episodes most frequently.
The Downloads per User Agent section gives you all of the stats associated with user agents. The download count includes all downloads for all episodes over the time range you selected.
Downloads per Destination
A destination, also known as a publication destination, is any place that you have set up in your Libsyn account to publish your episodes to, including the Apple Podcasts / Libsyn Classic Feed, Spotify, Facebook, Twitter, WordPress, and more.
Important Note that Apple Podcasts pulls from your Apple Podcasts / Libsyn Classic Feed, which means that Apple Podcasts itself is not a destination. If you have set up your podcast to appear in Apple Podcasts, then you can review the Apple Podcasts / Libsyn Classic Feed destination to get a sense of how many downloads are coming from Apple Podcasts. However, those numbers might include any other directory that is pulling from your Apple Podcasts / Libsyn Classic Feed. |
The Downloads per Destination section gives you your destination stats. The download count includes all downloads for all episodes over the time range you selected.
Click the name of a destination to see more specific stats for that destination.
Downloads Per Stats Code
If you have generated any custom tracking stats codes, this table shows you the number of downloads associated with each code.
YouTube
The YouTube section displays the number of views you've received on YouTube for the episodes you've published there. It displays the date the episode was published on YouTube, the number of views it has received, the average duration of each view, and the total estimated minutes that people have spent watching your episode.
Click the name of an episode to watch it on YouTube.
Note The YouTube section displays only the number of views you've received on YouTube. Views are not counted as downloads and are not added into any other statistics. |
