When viewing the Episode Totals table on your Stats page, there may be times when the First 7 stats column shows a zero.
There are two possible causes for this situation.
-
It Hasn't Been Seven Days
It hasn't been seven full days since the episode was released. In the above screenshot, the episode was released on May 3, 2022. If it is May 10, 2022 and you still don't have stats, it is probably due to the time of day the episode was released. If it was released on May 3 at 2 p.m., and it's May 10 at 10 a.m., it hasn't been seven full days.

There Were No Downloads During The First Seven Days
When you create an episode and schedule it for the future, you have two options for the media availability:
-
Always available
Example: If I schedule an episode to be published 14 days from now, it won't be "public" yet and won't appear in the apps yet. But if you share a link to this episode now, the episode will still play, because the media file is set to always available.
Some people use this setting to share a link to the file early, but this means the tracking of your seven day stats starts now. When the file is published 14 days later, the seven-day stats show zero because the file received no downloads during its first seven days.
-
Based on release schedule
If you want to ensure your seven-day stats are accurate, choose this setting. This means that if you (or anyone else) attempts to listen to this media before the release date, the file will not play. On the scheduled release date, the file will be published and the media will play (ensuring the seven-day stats are accurate).
