When you first create a show, you need to provide some key information about it. Libsyn uses the information you enter to create your RSS feed and to provide information to all of the publication destinations you want to connect to. The information you enter determines how your show will appear in podcast directories, as well as other places, like your Podcast Page, the Libsyn Podcast Directory, and other websites and social media accounts.
This article provides an overview of what you need to enter, as well as some tips for making sure you provide the right kind of information for your show to appear the way you want it to.
To set up your show:
- Click the
icon on the bottom, left-hand side of your Libsyn account. The Settings menu opens.
- In the Settings menu, click Podcast Settings. The Podcast Settings form opens.
- Enter all of your show's information in the fields that appear in the Podcast Settings form. For more information about any and all of the fields in the form, see About Your Podcast Settings.
- Use the Update Show Artwork and Update Widescreen Show Artwork sections on the right to upload your show's artwork.
- Click Save.
Now that your show is set up, you can connect to podcast directories, websites, and social media accounts. Then, you'll be ready to publish your episodes.
